The County of Prince Edward Public Library & Archives is accepting applications for a summer student.
The summer student circulation clerk provides friendly, helpful service to library patrons of all ages. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, able to learn routine and specific tasks and follow established procedures.
Qualifications:
o Demonstrated customer service experience.
o Comfort with technology
o Familiarity with books and authors is an asset in this position, in order to make recommendations and assist patrons.
This position may include evening and weekend work at any of the library’s six branches.
This summer student role has the potential to lead to after school and weekend work in the fall.
