Family Sundays

Krista Richardson will be available at the Picton Branch Library for Family Sundays from 1:00-3:00 PM, starting November 22. This is a test program to help us assess the interest in continuing Sunday hours, recognizing that for children who are in school it is often difficult to make it to the library in our current limited hours.

Book your time with Krista to join in on exciting programs on topics as varied as dinosaurs, winter festivals and more. These will be offered on a one-on-one basis, meaning that she will work with each family individually to offer stories, activities, homework help, crafts and more.  Parents and caregivers will need to stay in the library while their children are participating in the programs, but that it could be a good opportunity for grown-ups to put their feet up and read a book for a little while, while the children are occupied!

Contact Krista by email (krichardson@peclibrary.org) to book your time for a program.  Families can also contact her to book a time for Sunday visits, or take your chances dropping by – though of course we will need to continue limiting numbers in the building at any one time.
