Friends of the
Library
- We all need a little help from our Friends. The Friends of
the Library are groups of volunteers, who support the interests of the libraries in your
community. You can help by joining a Friends group, located at any one of the library branches
in The County of Prince Edward. There are many ways to lend a hand.
- Donate your new best sellers to the library, for general
library circulation. Donate your other books for resale. Profits are used to improve library
materials and services.
- Make tax-deductible cash donations to buy books and other
goods and services for the library. Sponsor a magazine subscription. Sponsor the Internet for a
month. Make a memorial donation to remember a loved one.
- Support the Friends' fund-raising drives with donations of
time, goods and money. Share your ideas. Offer your professional services. Get
involved!
- Become a Public Library booster! Join the Friends in
advocating for good, strong public library and information service in the County.
