Description of the CAP Site
The County of Prince Edward County is funded by the
Community Access Program (CAP). Thanks to the CAP program,
in the past, we have provided hundreds of one-on-one computer tutorials, dozens of
technology workshops, and created several webpages for small businesses.
CAP is a Government of Canada initiative, administered by
Industry Canada, that aims to provide Canadians with affordable public access to the Internet
and the skills they need to use it effecti
Through the Community Access Program we have purchased many of our computer terminals as well
as Internet Access. Our Internet Service Provider (ISP) includes: Vianet, Bell Sympatico, W3 Connex, KOS
