The County Channel
With financial assistance from Community Futures Development Corporation, Prince Edward County has purchased a full, digital editing suite and all the necessary hardware to capture video and audio. We are encouraging local entrepreneurs to borrow this equipment and record their stories. The equipment is free to borrow and use. Once video and/or audio is captured, it is downloaded into our iMac and processed for use on the web. When your project is complete you will submit it to Prince Edward County's Economic Development Office and once approved, will then be placed on The County's YouTube channel. Please make sure to book an orientation session with library
staff so that they can familiarize you with the equipment. Please note that while the
library staff are available to orient you and answer questions, it is your responsibility to
train yourself to use the equipment/software. For more information or if you would like to book
