Interlibrary Loans
Borrow from libraries across Ontario.

Simple steps to ordering your own interlibrary loans.
(If you already know how, go directly to the INFOntario page to make a request.)

1.You need a Prince Edward County library card, and PIN, which you can obtain from the library.
2.Contact the interlibrary loan department, either by e-mail (illodept@peclibrary.org) or phone
613-399-2023. They will authorize you to request your own materials.
3. Go to the INFOntario page.
4.Look on the left side for "My Account" and click on "Sign in"
A dialogue box will appear requesting your User ID and password.
5.Your User ID is the14-digit number on the front of your County of Prince Edward Public Library card. 
Your library PIN is your password.
6. Under "Authentication Service", click and scroll the drop down menu until you see "Prince Edward (County of) Library. Click login.
7.Use either Standard Search or Advanced Search to find authors or titles.
8.Once you have found what you would like to order, click on "Get it" on the far right. A maximum of 5 titles may be ordered at any given time. A new page with your request will appear.
 
The system will have assigned a number to you so that you may track the request.
